Your Impact as an IT Site Reliability Officer - Van Buren, AR


In order to strengthen the current growth, we are looking for a customer-oriented individual that have practical knowledge of actual IT technologies and solutions with a focus on HW, servers, networking and SW support.  In this role, you will provide IT and user support, handle infrastructure issues, interfaces, and other IT related tasks.

This role sits at our Van Buren, AR plant/office location reporting directly to the Regional IT Infrastructure Manager.


Essential Functions

  • User's Support
    • Accept & register service calls.
    • Execute solutions as 1st line support
    • Cooperates with central IT helpdesk, report incidents and cooperate on resolution
    • Offers and coordinate end user trainings , prepare manuals and user SOPs
    • Communicate IT activities, projects impacting users
    • Execute solutions as second line support
    • License management
  • IT applications and devices management
    • Makes IT device management, monitoring, evidence and reports
    • Install and upgrade software
    • Assure devices backup, activation, patching, data restoration
    • Support business in proposing solutions for operational & project activities
  • IT projects rollout cooperation
    • Cooperate with central IT in project rollouts and their preparation
    • Lead local IT infra project rollouts
    • Reports project plan and status
    • Contribute to the regional IT Capex and local X+1 plan
  • Lead local IT team
    • In cooperation with Regional IT Manager define targets and KPIs for local IT team and makes follow up
    • Supervise the IT support in the country scope
    • Recognized as an expert in the area
    • Improve knowledge of reports, train new IT Service officers
    • Supervise SLAs / KPIs follow up


Role Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Vocational training/Associate or higher degree optional in IT or related field
  • Minimum 3 years IT Support experience is beneficial
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Practical knowledge of actual IT technologies and solutions
  • Concise and accurate decision making abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Active listener to understand customers’ requirements in order to provide efficient solutions
  • Innovative and results driven; actively proposing practical improvements
  • Stay abreast of actual trends in IT technologies
  • Applies project management methodology
  • Self-motivated, Independent, flexible, reliable
  • Some domestic travel required
