About the role

Your Impact as Planning Engineer

• Analyze, improve, and oversee a supply chain systems and processes, and design and implement programs to improve the efficiency of those processes.
• Assist in development of innovative solutions to solve supply chain problems.
• Establish data and project plans, as well as manage and leading projects for logistics, transportation, and warehouse efficiency projects and inventory to support order fulfillment objectives and projects.
• Analyze and streamline Inventory Process Flow to ensure accuracy of WIP and Finished Goods accuracy for the plant.
• Implement and Automate MRP system for consumable products to improve inventory accuracy, reduce manual counting, and meet production capabilities.
• Ensure Accuracy of BOM and Consumption rate in SAP to provide accurate inventory management for the plant and MRP system.
• Support Planning Tools system to include OTIF/MOTIF Reports and Dops/OMP planning tool software.
• Support Run card issues and improvements that affect planning and production processes.

About You

Essential skills & competencies

• Possess attention to detail with demonstrated ability to communicate well.
• Have Prior experience with ISO (or similar) management systems is a plus.
• Possess Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities.
• Have a Working knowledge at an intermediate level (or higher) of computer skills in e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Microsoft Project. 
• SAP &/or MRP experience very helpful.
• Be able to Negotiate and use conflict management skills together with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Be Flexible with high energy, to handle multiple tasks smoothly.
• Inventory Software Management experience.
• 4-year business/supply chain/related degree and/or equivalent experience with 3 to 5 years demonstrated experience.  Candidates with Materials Certification strongly encouraged to apply.
