About the role

As a process engineer Bekintex, a Bekaert company, you keep a permanent focus on product- and process improvements. At Bekintex we produce innovative and high-tech textiles and we extend our electrolyse technologies for the production of green hydrogen. You will join a highly motivated team at a worldwide market leader in its niche markets and you will play a part in a more sustainable world.

Your Impact as Process Engineer:

• As a Process Engineer you contribute to the set up, improvement and further development of new and existing production processes.
• You also manage the release of new products & processes, and provide technical assistance to the production platform Hydrogen.
• You implement new and improve existing production processes and design/adapt machines with respect to quality, cost, ecology, health and safety.
• You drive process set ups and improvements in close collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers.
• You analyse current performances, and you define process optimalisations.
• You coach and transfer technical expertise to team members.
• You explore, propose and implement new technologies for the processes.

About You

Essential skills & competencies

• You hold a master’s degree Engineering.
• You are excellent with numbers & plans (drawings) and have affinity with practical mechanical/electrical implementations.
• You have very strong analytical skills and it gives you energy to approach and solve problems in an accurate, result oriented and systematic way.
• You have strong coaching skills for transferring technical expertise to team members.
• You have strong communication skills and foster open communication.
• You like to generate new ideas and take initiative.
• You are committed to safety and lead by example.
• You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English.
