About the role

Your Impact as Supply Chain Manager

• You will translate the global supply chain strategy into a local supply chain strategy, implement this in the plants, ensuring required customer service levels, balancing cost and cash
• You will coach team members on S&OP process objectives for the plants
• You will prepare scenario, cost/profitability impact as input to the global supply review meetings
• For local business components you will adapt, drive and deploy supply chain process tools, coach the team in this
• You will be responsible for optimization of local logistic flows – both in cost and efficiency together with central shipping team
• You will strongly cooperate with local purchasing
• You will guarantee supply chain environmental, social, economical sustainability in the local plants and supply network

About You

Essential skills & competencies

• You have relevant work experience – supply chain, driving S&OP
• You have University Masters Degree (business administration)
• You have 5 years experiences on similar position
• You have passion for digitalization
• Good understanding of all supply chain processes, deep knowledge of strategical, tactical and operational supply chain processes
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Willingnes to travel 20-30% of working time
• Willingnes to relocate for at least 1 year to Belgium and than back to Portugal
