Purpose and Mission

We are looking for a dynamic and technically driven Sales Manager to strengthen our presence in the Swiss tunnelling market. You will be responsible for driving the growth of Dramix® steel fiber solutions in underground applications, working closely with contractors, consultants, and asset owners.

This role combines business development, technical consultancy, and project management, with a strong focus on delivering value-added solutions to complex infrastructure projects.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

Commercial & business development

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for tunnelling and mining applications in Switzerland mainly. 
  • Identify and build a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects
  • Establish and maintain relationships with:
    • Contractors
    • Engineering consultants
    • Project owners
  • Promote Dramix® steel fiber solutions as an alternative/addition to traditional reinforcement
  • Identify and develop potential new applications with steel fiber concrete
  • Represent Bekaert in industry events

Project & Sales Execution

  • Manage the full sales cycle
    • Lead identification
    • Technical promotion
    • Quotation preparation
    • Contract negotiation
    • Order follow-up and delivery coordination
  • Ensure proper follow-up on projects, pipeline and forecasting
  • Monitor project progress, payment follow-up and after-sales support

Technical engagement

  • Act as trusted advisor for clients on SFRC design and applications
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to support structural design discussions and to develop project-specific solutions and testing programs
  • Represent Bekaert in technical committees and working groups

Profile

Experience

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in tunnelling, underground construction and/or construction materials related to concrete

Qualifications and Education

  • Master’s degree in civil engineering / structural engineering / tunnel engineering or equivalent
  • Familiar with infrastructure building codes and norms
  • Fluent in German & English, French is a plus
