Your role

           

  • You work together with product owners and commercial teams of different divisions (business units) and business domain experts to create product strategies and long-term vision that enables business and IT to build best in class digital solutions. You are part of the global Bekaert Customer Excellence (BCE) team.
  • You own and execute the global product roadmap for a set of digital business model archetypes across all divisions to drive the commercial digital transformation and to realize the value identified. You monitor, follow up, and steer the process.
  • You define corporate guidelines that drive standardization and maximize scaling for speed to market, balanced with business specific needs key for market differentiation.
  • You provide organizational leadership, direction and coaching to product owners and impacted stakeholders to build and improve their capabilities and competences to run their digital business, to drive adoption and to realize the identified value.
  • You encourage cross-digital coordination of product tracks to break down silos and strive for a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
  • You ensure an efficient and agile collaboration in the digital team (business, functions and strategic partners).
  • You manage and influence stakeholder alignment, acting as a product evangelist.
  • You support the IT product managers, solution architects and development teams on a functional level.
  • You support and guide the product implementation and change management needs.

 

 

What you bring

 

  • You have a Master Degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant work B2B and B2C experience in digital product management.
  • You have experience with agile project management practices.
    Experience working in a SAFe configuration is a plus.
  • You have a proven track record in digital use case development and implementation and a relentless focus on value creation.
  • You are customer / user centric in your approach.
  • You are passionate by customer experience, digital transformation, digital marketing and commerce. You continuously keep yourself up to date with the evolution in the digital commercial domain and leverage best practices within the Bekaert Group through your internal and external network
  • You have an open and creative mind to develop innovative and impactful products and experiences.
  • You have strong analytical skills and a good understanding of commercial processes, being able to work closely with IT, to translate business needs into effective solutions.
  • You have good influencing and change management skills – you ask critical questions when needed – you proactively seek alignment with stakeholders to be able to drive adoption and change forward.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to drive a transformation.
  • You think along critically, and you are a real team player.
