About the role

Bekaert is at the cusp of Digital transformation and IoT is one of the key enablers through this journey. As IoT Platform analyst you will have the opportunity to drive IoT use case and solution development working with multiple stakeholders within business units and partners. Focusing on Digital strategy, Industry 4.0 and IoT you need to ensure the IoT platform governance and help users to realise the value out of the use cases. Ensure best practices on the platform solutions by enabling new IoT paradigms. You will be part of global ADS organisation of Bekaert which is supporting multiple business  spanning across multiple regions. 

Your Impact

• Mapping and prioritization of IoT platform use case features and translating them to development team   
• Drives solution design and implementation as per the customer needs 
• Scope definition and client interaction on various stages of the project development lifecycle 
• Ensuring the Platform Dashboards/Visualizations are in line with requirements and delivering the intended value. 
• Orchestrating IoT discovery workshop to identify new use cases and unlock value. 
• Ensure Platform success with the users. 
• Ensure the IoT projects are within schedule / impact analysis 
• Maintaining risk register and mitigation plan 
• Establishing communication plan and follow-up 

About You

Essential skills & competencies

• Technical understanding of IoT ecosystem, technologies, and Architectures. 
• Demonstrated experience of working with IoT platforms/ solutions (Preferably Cumulocity IoT) 
• Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies like Agile 
• Experience with software project tracking tools like Jira, Azure Devops etc. 
• Previous IoT development experience would be preferred 
• Experience creating and maintaining dashboard. 
• Technical degree preferably in computer science 
• 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in IoT. 
• IoT/IIOT certification would be an added advatage 
• Experience in working with globally distributed teams and partners
