About the role
Hose and Conveyor Belt solutions (HCB) is a ~€150M revenue business in the Specialty Businesses division of Bekaert, offering solutions to hose (hose reinforcement wire, hose cord...) and conveyor belt (Fleximat® and conveyor belt cords) applications.
This growing division is known for its innovation, reliability, sustainability, strong partnerships and has clear leadership positions in the most attractive segments and addresses the relevant mega trends.
Your Impact as Global Account Manager:
- As a Global Account Manager, you build long-lasting relationships with your accounts. You position yourself as a dedicated recourse for key accounts, committed to helping them solve their problems, realize their business goals, and achieve success. You will be developing deep relationships, trust and gravitas at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally. You are a central point of contact.
- You will leverage the relationships to ensure sustainable added value to the Accounts as well as Bekaert.
- For those accounts, you will be in charge of developing the long-term strategy and of its execution by coordinating actions across departments and regions. (princing strategy, joint developments)
- By gathering customer and competitor intelligence data, you will ensure full account transparency. (DMU maps, actionable insights, Value curve)
About You : Essential skills & competences
- You have a solid experience in Sales, preferably on a global level. You have been working with large accounts, for whom you have been making account plans. You have excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills, and are able to build a deep relationship on a long term.
- Your experience is best situated in a technical, industrial (heavy equipment) market.
- You are willing and able to travel 25 – 30 % of your time. (intercontinental)
- You have strong project manager skills, a nose for innovation, and are able to collaborate in a multicultural context. Next to that, you have strong analytical skills.
- You are pro-active result driver who is passionate about taking this business to a higher level (in a growing segment with potential markets)
- You speak and write English fluently.
