To strengthen our team in the light of an inspiring HR transformation journey, we are currently looking for an exceptional Head of Global Talent Acquisition, that will develop and lead our next generation Talent Acquisition function.

 

 

Your Role

 

Acting in a newly created role, you will be part of an exciting transformation journey and you will be the leader of a fully global and freshly constituted Talent Acquisition team, that you will contribute hiring, shaping and organizing.

Additionally, you will also be part of the Global HR Services Leadership team, reporting to the Vice President of HR Services of the Bekaert Group.

 

In close collaboration with your Line Manager and the Talent Centre of Excellence, you will:

 

  • Identify Bekaert’s talent acquisition needs and create and implement an efficient operational talent acquisition strategy to attract skilled and diverse talents in a truly global setup
  • Develop and adapt sourcing strategies to the internal needs and external talent markets, based on the guidelines received by the Centres of Excellence
  • Build, manage and maintain a highly-skilled global Talent Acquisition team of 20+ employees in several regional hubs and countries
  • Manage the Talent Acquisition budget to execute +-2500 recruitments per year
  • Design and deploy all stages of candidate experience - from application to contract signature
  • Develop and monitor the KPIs and the SLAs of the Talent Acquisition department and keep the internal service standards to an excellent delivery level
  • Ensure legal compliance – including the respect of GDPR regulations
  • Manage external partnerships with Talent Acquisition suppliers, job boards and HR software vendors
  • Execute the Employer Brand strategy in all Bekaert’s locations worldwide
  • Personally engage in the hiring process of Senior Executives
  • As part of the HR Services Leadership Team, contribute in steering the entire HR Services strategy and guiding the HR Services community

 

Your Profile

 

  • You have a master degree by preference in Human Resource Management or Psychology
  • You have a significant 7 to 10 years experience in Talent Acquisition, having led a team of mid-to-large dimensions in the past, and having developed an own Talent Acquisition strategy in an international corporate environment or in a top recruitment firm
  • You possess a relevant Talent Acquisition industry knowledge, a broad network, and are always ahead of the market trends to guarantee a modern approach to recruitment
  • You are used to think strategically and to implement highly impactful projects across several geographies and languages
  • You are a truly multinational team leader, cultural aware, curious and with a keen attention on diversity and inclusion
  • You have an excellent command of English. Due to the international dimension of the team, other languages are highly appreciated and will be a significant asset
