About the role
As a Key Account & Market Manager you will be responsible for managing key customer relationships, driving market growth, and identifying new business opportunities within the micro cables and conductive solutions segment. This role requires a strong understanding of specialized cables, conductive materials, and their applications across industries. Primary focus will go to market management, while also including responsibilities for leading and supporting the local internal sales team.
Your Impact as Key Account & Market Manager
- You manage the sales process through frequent and close customer contacts from needs analysis, and price setting over negotiations towards closing the deal.
- You focus on customers and key accounts: connect with the right decision makers in order to build customer relationships, build customers’ trust and respect while being able to challenge
- You build deep insights in the related market, customers, products and applications.
- You provide monthly forecasting, reporting and deliver on sales results.
- You work closely together with Internal & Inside Sales, Planning & Operations, R&D and Strategy & Marketing.
- You seek for understanding on the customer needs for existing and potential customers. Covert opportunities into new business following a structured roadmap and apply a value selling approach.
About You
Essential skills & competencies
- Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in sales within an international context or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive, industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Experience in international sales, with strong capabilities in account management, key account management, and business development.
- Confident in value-based selling and skilled in negotiation to drive business success.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic market.
- Comfortable working in a high-tech environment and is digitally savvy.
- A team player with excellent communication skills, able to connect, collaborate, and engage across teams and departments.
- Eager to learn, develop new skills, and stay ahead in an evolving industry.
- Fluent in English; French & German languages are a plus
