Purpose and Mission

  • Responsible for supporting the evaluation and execution of potential mergers, acquisitions, and other business opportunities by providing detailed financial analysis and market research.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential acquisition targets.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements and perform valuation analysis of potential targets.
  • Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process, evaluating the strategic fit, financial health, and potential risks of target companies.
  • Data Collection: Gather and analyze data on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Modeling: Develop financial models to project the impact of potential deals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support transaction execution.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of completed transactions.

Skills

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
  • Research Skills: Proficiency in conducting market and competitive research.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Previous Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in a finance-related role, such as Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance Analyst, M&A Analyst, or a similar position.
  • Experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, business case development, and investment evaluation.

Qualifications and Education

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
