Purpose and Mission

The project manager, with digital skills, and capabilities to become a departmental leader on longer term contributes to process development by ensuring new process creation and advancing technology to the next level. It seeks to improve product quality, reduce costs, and enhance ecological and risk management. Additionally, it introduces new products into production, assures existing processes, coordinates claims and complaints, provides technical assistance, explores new technologies, and manages, coaches, and trains team members.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Process Development

    • Develop and improve new processes, aiming to enhance product quality, stability, and reduce costs.
    • Lead improvement projects, monitor progress, and ensure ecological and risk reduction considerations.
    • Regularly report on project status.
  • New Product Introduction

    • Collaborate with R&D to develop and implement new products or processes based on business/customer needs.
    • Define process parameters, create SOPs, and train key production personnel.
  • Assure Existing Processes

    • Regularly review and update SOPs, specifications, and control plans.
    • Address malpractices and deviations, manage non-conformed materials.
  • Claims and Complaint Management

    • Manage customer claims and complaints, lead corrective actions with production, and ensure system integration.
  • Provide Technical Assistance

    • Solve production problems and provide support to customers.
    • Track interventions to improve preventive and corrective maintenance efforts.
  • Explore New Technologies

    • Research and implement new technologies, develop expertise, and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Team Management and Coaching

    • Coach and train team members, assess skills, and create development plans in collaboration with HR.
    • Provide on-the-job training for internal and external personnel.

Qualifications and Education

University degree in engineering with at least 5 years of process engineering experience.
