Purpose and Mission
As an Product and Program Manager within the BBRG Advanced Services team, you will play a crucial role to ensure that the product vision is effectively translated into actionable plans and deliverables. Reporting to the Product and Technology Director, you'll lead the development and delivery of the condition monitoring as a service digital product. Additionally, you'll manage selected technology projects, ensuring alignment with the product vision throughout execution.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Product Management
Collaborate with global teams to understand customer needs and define product features, to achieve problem-solution fit.
Develop and maintain product strategy and roadmaps for the condition monitoring as a service business model.
Conduct market research to identify use cases and analyse the competitive landscape.
Craft user stories to capture requirements and guide development.
Create product documentation and strategic marketing materials.
Implement relevant tools and way of working such as Voice of Customer (VoC), Value Proposition Canvas, Business Model Canvas.
Assist in defining MVPs based on user stories and segment markets based on needs and wants. - Project/Program Management
Coordinate key technical and R&D programs and projects within the advanced services technology team.
Project manage key development projects in collaboration with the central digital services team, focusing on IoT, cloud, and digital services. - Strategic aspects
Assist in strategy development, business cycle planning, intellectual property (IP), budget planning, and innovation initiatives.
Lead or support management updates, both internally and externally, and facilitate communication channels.
Skills
Product Management : Proficiency in developing product strategies, roadmaps, and understanding customer needs.
Knowledge of product management principles, tools and methodologies.
Project management: set scope, budget and manage deliverables and project plan execution.
Strategic thinking for assisting in business planning and innovation initiatives.
Analytical skills: Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and use strategic tools like VoC, Value Proposition Canvas, and Business Model Canvas.
Communication Skills: Strong capabilities in crafting user stories, creating documentation, and facilitating communication across teams.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with IoT, cloud services, and digital services is crucial.
Previous Experience
2 to 3 years' experience in product management, particularly with digital products or services.
Experience in using product management tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
Prior involvement in project or program management, especially within a technology-focused team.
Prior experience with IoT, cloud services, and digital transformation projects is a plus.
Experience or exposure to rope or lifting industry is a plus.
Exposure to global collaboration and strategy development is highly desirable.
Qualifications and Education
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Professional certification in product or project management is a plus.
