Your role 


  • You work together with commercial leaders of the different divisions (business units) to define how to embed digital as an enabler in their overall business strategy to achieve their ambitions. You are part of the global BCE team.
  • You dive deep into business processes and customer touch points and facilitate ideation and design workshops with the businesses, to identify opportunities for digital value creation in the commercial domain. 
  • You ensure customer requirements, business needs and related as-is and to-be journeys and context are clearly mapped. 
  • You translate digital opportunities into a performant strategy and translate this into a concrete implementation roadmap, with clear priorities, timelines and budgets.
  • You setup digital initiatives in the commercial domain in an agile way and together with your digital colleagues. You continuously optimize those for value impact and ensuring predefined KPI’s are achieved. You pro-actively follow-up the whole process from ideation till implementation and upscaling and ensure the team remains aligned on the milestones to be reached. 
  • You leverage the use of data to make fundamental decisions that support the commercial teams in increasing effectiveness and efficiency, but also for encouraging customer retention and customer loyalty. For this, you make use of analytical tools in marketing, commerce and customer experience platforms or through dashboards. 
  • You are passionate by digital transformation, digital marketing and commerce. You continuously keep yourself up-to-date with the evolution in the digital commercial domain and leverage best practices within the Bekaert Group through your internal and external network. 


Your profile


  • You have 7 to 10 years of experience in digital product management in B2B and B2C environments, from analyzing to defining, prototyping, building and implementing.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience with agile project management practices. Experience working in a SAFe configuration is a plus.
  • You have a proven track record in digital use case development and implementation and a relentless focus on value creation.
  • You are customer / user centric in your approach.
  • You have an open and creative mind to develop innovative and impactful products and experiences.
  • You have strong analytical skills and a good understanding of commercial processes, being able to work closely with IT, to translate business needs into effective solutions.
  • You have good influencing and change management skills – you ask critical questions when needed – you proactively seek alignment with stakeholders to be able to drive adoption and change forward.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills to be able to drive a transformation.
  • You feel comfortable with taking decisions and communicating to a multitude of stakeholders.
  • You think along critically and you are a real team player.
  • You are acquainted with developing playbooks and setting up frameworks.
  • You are a fast learner.
  • You speak fluent English.
