To strengthen our Steel Wire Solution business, we are currently looking for a Junior Segment, Sales & Marketing Manager.

Then you could be the Junior Segment, Sales & Marketing Manager we are looking for.

Your role as Segment, Sales & Marketing Manager is a key for future success in our Steel Wire Solution business. With a group of Sales Managers across the EMEA-region, we generate more than 175 Mio€ of turnover, serve 600+ customer with 150.000 ton of wire in many different applications. Next to the team of Sales Managers in the field, we are looking for a Junior Segment, Sales & Marketing Manager who will drive commercial and marketing projects and provide support in different areas.

 

Your role
• You ensure the development and implementation of a longer-term commercial plan for the segment through market and application development. Besides that you define a marketing plan and you ensure its implementation.
• You will be in the co-driver seat for our digital approach improving interaction with customers or for increased brand-building based on the solutions we offer
• You provide support to the team in price-alignment and -setting, in specific product development projects, in branding initiatives, in the coordination with different stakeholders (other regions, global customers...) and you drive value management cases.
• Sustainability is also very high on our agenda and you will actively participate to improve our offering and promotion
• Together with the Global Strategy Team, you gather (global) market insights, trends, competitor performance and the interaction with (global) stakeholders outside customers. As such, you build market studies and provide key information for our X+1/X+5 strategy.
• You are involved in the daily interaction with our most important Key-Accounts and you monitor for a number of segments all (global) commercial strategic and transactional sales tasks in alignment with plants and internal sales.
• In this role, you report to the Senior Segment Manager Agri & Consumer EMEA.

 

Your profile
• Master degree in business administration or engineering 
• A first work experience
• Strong analytical skills and conceptual mind, while at the same time you are able to translate this into a pragmatic implementation plan
• Trained in collecting information through different sources
• You are a real team player and can easily connect with different colleagues and stakeholders in our organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in several relevant languages as English, German and French.
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Good social media insights
